Prize money will be determined by the number of players, with pay back of one out of six.

Basic rules of Hoyle apply. All disputes will be resolved by the Directors. Any error in scoring should be corrected by a director.
A round of play will consist of each player dealing twice. We will play ten rounds for thetournament.
Table assignment by random drew.
All rounds will start when a director rings the bell.
First round throw jacks to determine first dealer.
Deal consistent combination of 2 or 3 cards to each player.
A player must have a trump card in their hand in order to make trump.
The dealer does not need to have trump card in there hand to pick up the turned up trump card.
When a trump card is ordered or picked up by the dealer, the card must remain as part of the
dealer’s hand and another card discarded.
The winning team at the number one table will remain as partners until defeated, at which
time they will draw for high/low and proceed to the highest numbered table.
For all other tables: At the end of each round, all players will draw a card to determine “high”
and “low” status and corresponding partners become partners for the next round. Winning
teams advance to the next lower numbered table to play the previous losing team. If the
round ends in a tie, all players will draw a card and the two “high” players advance. After the
first round the “high” player coming to the table will deal first.
If all players pass twice or if there is a miss deal, the dealer will re-deal until a trump is made.
“A card laid is a card played” .
Once a card leaves the player’s hand it is in play and cannot be removed.
If a player misplays and could follow suit they may replay the card before the trick is picked up.
As the result of a misplay or renege, opponent will score two points (4 points in case of a loner).
